Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
At QuickStop Health, we believe your healthcare should be completely transparent. If you have a question about how our California telehealth clinic works, you will find the straightforward answer below.
Does QuickStop Health take insurance?
No. QuickStop Health is a 100% self-pay telehealth clinic. By stepping outside the traditional insurance system, we can offer immediate, high-quality care without the red tape, surprise bills, or hidden facility fees. You will know exactly what your care costs before your appointment begins.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. You can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) debit card to pay for your virtual visits and monthly memberships.
How much does QuickStop Health cost?
We have two simple pricing tiers depending on your needs:
Acute Care Visits ($59 flat fee): For immediate, one-time needs like UTI treatment, yeast infections, birth control refills, or period pain.
Specialized Memberships ($99/month): For ongoing medical management, including our GLP-1 Weight Loss program and Menopause (HRT) care.
Are there any hidden fees?
Never. Your payment covers your complete virtual consultation, symptom review, and any necessary prescription orders. Note: The cost of your actual medication is separate and paid directly to your chosen local pharmacy. You can use your traditional health insurance at the pharmacy to cover the medication itself.
Who will be treating me?
You will be evaluated by a licensed California medical provider. Our practice is led by Nurse Practitioner Jasy Yin, who brings over 20 years of clinical experience to every virtual visit. We utilize the nursing model of care, which means we focus on treating the whole person—including lifestyle, sleep, and stress—rather than just the immediate symptom.
What conditions do you treat online?
We specialize in women’s health. Our most common virtual treatments include:
Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
Birth Control prescriptions and refills
Vaginal infections (Yeast infections, Bacterial Vaginosis)
Menopause symptoms and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
Medical Weight Loss (Semaglutide and Tirzepatide)
Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing and treatment
Severe period pain and cramps
What happens if telehealth isn't the right option for my symptoms?
Your safety is our priority. If your provider determines that your symptoms require an in-person physical examination, lab work we cannot order remotely, or emergency attention (like severe abdominal pain or uncontrolled bleeding), we will guide you to seek immediate local urgent care or emergency services.
Where is QuickStop Health available?
We are licensed to treat patients anywhere within the state of California. Whether you live in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento, Fresno, or a rural community, you can access our care as long as you are physically in California during your visit.
How fast will my prescription be sent to the pharmacy?
If a prescription is clinically appropriate for your diagnosis, your provider will send the order electronically to your preferred local California pharmacy immediately after your consultation concludes. Most prescriptions are ready for pickup within a few hours, depending on your pharmacy’s volume.
Can QuickStop Health prescribe weight loss medication?
Yes. We prescribe GLP-1 medications, including Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, as part of our $99/month weight loss membership. Your provider will require a recent comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) to ensure these medications are safe for you.
Can I get my birth control refilled here?
Absolutely. We provide both new birth control prescriptions and simple refills for hormonal contraceptives.
Is my telehealth visit private and secure?
Yes. We take your medical privacy very seriously. Our entire platform—from the intake forms to the video consultation and messaging system—is 100% HIPAA-compliant and fully encrypted. Your health information is never shared without your explicit consent.
Do I have to do a video call?
Yes. To provide the highest standard of care and comply with California telehealth regulations for certain prescriptions, our consultations are conducted via a secure video call. You can use your smartphone, tablet, or computer—just make sure you are in a quiet, private place with a good internet connection.
